About Solid State Amp Repair

I started this service to help musicians in the Virginia/DC area.  I am a trained Video Engineer with a background in electronics.  I have been working on my own gear for years and just recently started fixing amps for friends.  With the economy being in the pooper, I decided it would be great to make some extra money doing this as well as helping out local musicians by fixing their amps for cheaper than the big service centers.  These service centers are often very difficult to deal with.  Long wait times, expensive rates, surly employees.  My goal is to give you the straight truth on what's wrong with your amp, how much it really costs to fix and wheather or not it is worth fixing.  I'm not here to rip people off.  I feel that a service should be provided with honesty and integrity.  For example, just because the price of electricity goes up, that should not mean an automatic doubling of the hourly rate.  That just seems like punishment to me.  Thanks for checking out the service and please let me know if I can assist you with an amp repair.
